Swimming - Life Jackets

Image
In week 3 we borrowed  life   jackets  from Selwyn Aquatic Centre. We had absolute fun learning 'what to do in an emergency'. The children thrived with the challenge of jumping into the water, rolling onto their back looking at the sun and counting to 10. The confidence and enthusiasm was written all over their faces! Ka Pai tamariki  for participating, listening and learning during our swimming lessons. Miss Hollings, Miss Courtney and Mrs Bayley are super proud of you all!

Nau mai, haere mai, welcome, My name is Mrs Megan Bayley and I am working in Te Māuri e Taki Nei. I am working alongside two wonderful teachers, Miss Anna Courtney and Miss Kate Hollings. I am excited to get to know and work with all the wonderful Tamariki in our learning space. A little about myself: I am a mother of 2 busy and active boys that are 3 and 7. I like to run and walk for fun and explore Christchurch by foot. I also like the odd hike/tramp. I moved down to Christchurch from Auckland in 2019 and have been working at South Hornby School since June. You are welcome to come and see me for a chat before or after school. Ngā mihi nui,  Mrs Megan Bayley
