 Miss Hollings' Maths class have been learning about fractions. Our goals are:

1. Learn to find halves and quarters of shapes. 

2. Learn to identify the correct symbols for halves and quarters. 

3. Find halves and quarters of numbers, by equal sharing.

 Today in our Hangout, we listened to a story about the greatest hugs. We set a challenge for our homerooms to write a story about their greatest hugs  and send them into their homeroom teachers. We are looking forward to reading these! I think there might even be a few 'thank you tickets' up for grabs for those people choosing a wonderful attitude towards their home learning! We then used our active listening ears and did a step-by-step drawing.  Here are some of our masterpieces! Tomorrow we are doing our 'guess the baby' challenge - see you all again then!
