Introducing Miss Courtney

Hi, my name is Anna Courtney and I am one of the lucky teachers in Te Māuri e Taki Nei this year. This will be my 3rd year at South Hornby School and I am really looking forward to getting to know all of the awesome Tamariki in our learning hub. 

In my spare time I love to go jet skiing and I am a keen wakeboarder. Feel free to pop in and see me before and after school.

 Today in our Hangout, we listened to a story about the greatest hugs. We set a challenge for our homerooms to write a story about their greatest hugs  and send them into their homeroom teachers. We are looking forward to reading these! I think there might even be a few 'thank you tickets' up for grabs for those people choosing a wonderful attitude towards their home learning! We then used our active listening ears and did a step-by-step drawing.  Here are some of our masterpieces! Tomorrow we are doing our 'guess the baby' challenge - see you all again then!
