We are all scientists!

We are curious about the world we live in and how things work.

We have started to learn about surface tension and molecules. 

We started with a simple experiment with milk, food colouring and soap.

We had so much fun! We learnt scientific words! We learn't how to make a prediction / hypothesis

    Wow.. That is an exciting experiment to do. I think that the food colouring would form a rainbow of colours when put in milk. That looks beautiful.

    What a great idea. I like all the difference hypotheses on the bubble cards. The colours in the milk in the last photo look amazing. I wonder what the soap did in this experiment?

 Today in our Hangout, we listened to a story about the greatest hugs. We set a challenge for our homerooms to write a story about their greatest hugs  and send them into their homeroom teachers. We are looking forward to reading these! I think there might even be a few 'thank you tickets' up for grabs for those people choosing a wonderful attitude towards their home learning! We then used our active listening ears and did a step-by-step drawing.  Here are some of our masterpieces! Tomorrow we are doing our 'guess the baby' challenge - see you all again then!
