Mrs Bayley's Maths Class

MEASUREMENT - LENGTH

We have been learning all about measurement.

We have been using mathematical language like short, shorter and shortest.

We have been exploring and practising how to use these words in sentences to describe what we have measured.

We have been exploring and learning how to measure objects using non-standard units e.g. cubes, blocks, paperclips etc.

We brought a special toy to school. We had a great chat about who our toy is and if they are tall or short. If they are long or short or big or small.

Have a look at our amazing work we have been doing!
