We had a wonderful hangout catching up! and hearing about all our adventures and activities around our homes!

We played a great dress up game! Thanks for the idea Lexie! 

We had so much fun. Look at our wonderful dress up clothes and smiles! 

We all look great!

Tomorrow we are doing our 'guess the baby' challenge - see you all again then!

    Great to see everyone this morning, it was a lot of fun. Mrs Parker was very good at that game. I loved everyone's accessories, my favourite was Elza's teddy bear!

    Look forward to the baby photo game tomorrow, I wonder who will be the best guesser?

    I really enjoyed the game today my favourite part was having to think and remember what the people were wearing and how happy they looked when people were guessing.

Te Pā o Moki - Marae Trip

Mrs Bayley and Miss Hollings' Homerooms went to  Te Pā o Moki marae today!! We had such a blast!  We went on a bus. We were welcomed onto the marae.  We sung Waiatas. We ate kai and said our Mihimihi. We learnt about our Te Manu Tukutuku -South Hornby Schools' cultural narrative (story).  We had so much fun! A day full of exploring, listening and understanding new learning. Oh and we got to see and touch (if we wanted to) short and long fin tuna (eels)!! Oh such fun! Not to mention, our very own principal showed us how to use harakeke to make Ika (fish) .  How lucky are we!
