Miss Hollings' Digraph Discoverers

This week we have been learning the digraph 'ss'. We know lots of words that end with our focus digraph. 

Evelyn - "We have been learning about 'ss' and lots of words end with this digraph."

Sophie W - "I know that the word bless ends with 'ss'."

Mitchell - "I know the 'ss' could be less, mess, or chess."

Jackson M - "'ss' has dress and miss."

 Today in our Hangout, we listened to a story about the greatest hugs. We set a challenge for our homerooms to write a story about their greatest hugs  and send them into their homeroom teachers. We are looking forward to reading these! I think there might even be a few 'thank you tickets' up for grabs for those people choosing a wonderful attitude towards their home learning! We then used our active listening ears and did a step-by-step drawing.  Here are some of our masterpieces! Tomorrow we are doing our 'guess the baby' challenge - see you all again then!
