Antarctic Centre Trip

 Today we were lucky enough to go on a class trip to the Antarctic Centre to learn all about the endangered animals in Antarctica. We learnt about climate change, and the effect our actions are having on the land and native life in Antarctica. We got to see some penguins and play in a mock snow storm. Take a look at what we got up to!

 Today in our Hangout, we listened to a story about the greatest hugs. We set a challenge for our homerooms to write a story about their greatest hugs  and send them into their homeroom teachers. We are looking forward to reading these! I think there might even be a few 'thank you tickets' up for grabs for those people choosing a wonderful attitude towards their home learning! We then used our active listening ears and did a step-by-step drawing.  Here are some of our masterpieces! Tomorrow we are doing our 'guess the baby' challenge - see you all again then!
