Miss Courtney's writing class have been focussing on WOW words! These are descriptive words that make our writing exciting to read. We got to work in buddies for our writing, which we loved. We were given a simple sentence and had to add WOW words to make it more interesting. Our simple sentence was "The lion is roaring." Felicity and Joel worked together to make it better. Their finished story said, "The big scary lion is golden and brown . He is roaring at his favourite food and it is hot and dry . He is very hot and he has sharp teeth." We then discussed the things we liked about working in pairs.
