2021 Te Māuru-e-taki-nei

 With book week coming up next week. Mrs Bayley read us 'The Paper Bag Princess' Story. We talked about it, discussed the story and characters in buddies and in groups. We wrote about the characters and the story.  Have a look at our work!  Keep an eye out! I wonder what Mrs Bayley will dress up as for Book Week in Week 7!!

Octopus Descriptions  We watched a video of an octopus moving on the sand. We loved it so much we wrote wonderful descriptions about it! Look at all our amazing hard work!

 Miss Hollings' Semicircles maths group have been learning that we can make five by adding together two numbers. Our 'super maths talk' focus has been on saying "plus" and "equals". Check out some of our hard work!

 Today in our hub assembly, we presented our latest group of South Hornby Heroes with their wristbands. Tino pai rawa atu, Craig, Kurt, Melissa, Louie and Kaitlin!
